Knoxville, Tenn. – The wait is over, and improvements to the first segment of the Knoxville South Waterfront’s Riverwalk are complete!

The City of Knoxville will celebrate this accomplishment with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Dec. 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the CityView at Riverwalk Condominiums, located at 445 W. Blount Avenue. Directly following the ceremony, CityView at Riverwalk will host an open house for the general public until 2 p.m.

Select residences that showcase CityView’s various amenities and floorplans will be open for tours during the open house. Refreshments will also be provided. The public is welcome to attend.

City of Knoxville Mayor and Governor-Elect Bill Haslam will open the ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the first segment of what will eventually become a three-mile long Riverwalk on the South Knoxville Waterfront.

“The completion of the South Knoxville Riverwalk’s first segment is an important milestone for the City of Knoxville. This is the first of many steps in making the South Knoxville Waterfront one of the best places to be in town,” said Haslam.

CityView at Riverwalk is a brand-new condominium community on the South Knoxville Waterfront. Some of CityView’s residences have already been sold and are owner-occupied. The rest of the residences are ready for occupancy and closings have already begun on many.

CityView’s beautiful residences offer the wonderfully unique combination of waterfront living and convenient access to the fantastic restaurants, charming shops and cultural attractions of Knoxville’s thriving urban center,” said Kimberly Dixon Hamilton of Downtown Realty Inc.

“With CityView’s many amenities and direct Riverwalk access, owners Jim Clayton and Raja Jubran have ensured that it will be regarded as Knoxville’s leading address for urban waterfront luxury. Best of all, these residences are being offered at remarkably affordable prices,” said Dixon Hamilton.

CityView at Riverwalk features amenities such as luxury finishes, outdoor balconies and patios, swimming pool, clubroom, fitness center, individual storage spaces, garage parking, a landscaped courtyard and direct South Knoxville Riverwalk access. The homes start at $179,900.

“My partner, Raja Jubran, and Denark built our home across the river and about a half-mile downstream more than a decade ago. We know the advantages of having a home constructed by the area’s best team. The priceless location, marvelous design and flawless attention to detail is assurance that CityView owners will enjoy a unique lifestyle and a meaningful investment opportunity,” said Jim Clayton, President of Clayton
