ATLANTA, GA./KNOXVILLE, TN. – Crown Financial Ministries continued the expansion of its Knoxville branch office with the addition of new leadership and new positions, part of a strategic reorganizing of the 35-year leader in financial ministry. Crown President Robert Dickie announced that Bill Winter has joined the team as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development in advance of some exciting new product launches. This dovetailed with the expansion of Crown’s call center, handling inquiries from across the country and around the world.
“Bill’s expertise in product development over a long career ties perfectly into Crown’s production of the leading materials for Bible-based understanding of personal finances as well as business and career management,” said Dickie. “With the economy in a tailspin and so many people out of work, Crown’s cutting-edge tools are in great demand.”
Preparations are currently underway for the launch of a super sized version of Career Direct, an improved and streamlined version of the personal analysis tool that helps people find their ideal employment, and a personal finance diagnostic tool that will allow people to identify areas of money management where they need the most help.
Crown CEO Chuck Bentley noted that Winter’s long and award winning career in the field of medical devices that helped people with physical challenges was an excellent precursor to marketing tools that equip people to overcome financial challenges.
Winter’s interest and expertise include the development of new medical products, taking them from ideation to commercialization. His passion for developing innovative solutions to complex customer needs has resulted in two of his projects being awarded U.S. patents and one being awarded a Silver Medical Design Excellence Award.
“Utilizing his marketing background, Bill will help Crown reach entirely new audiences. He is passionate about seeing lives changed,” said Bentley. “One of the strengths of Crown’s team is the fact that so many of those in leadership have lived out biblical business principles in private sector employment. We learned how to practice what we now preach. We’ve made the hard choices and understand the pressures of the marketplace.”
“I am very excited to join Crown and continue its long tradition of helping people through difficult times,” said Winter. “I look forward to this next stage of my career as I transition to using my experience in marketing and product development to open new doors for people and businesses who want to make an eternal difference in their work.”
Crown’s global operations are headquartered in Atlanta, where parts of the ministry will continue, but the Knoxville office will support the on-going launch of Crown’s new services and expanding leadership team.
