Maryville Company Changes Name and Launches Global Rebranding Program

Maryville, Tenn. – After two years of solid growth, expanding service offerings and a fast start for 2010, Maryville based Critical Mission Support Services (CMSS) is changing its name and initiating a global rebranding campaign.  The company will now operate under the name RELYANT

RELYANT’S revenue growth over the past three years has increased from $7M in 2006 to a projected $80M in contract revenue for 2010. RELYANT’S service offerings have also expanded with the addition of relocatable building services for commercial companies in Afghanistan, spray foam insulation services for military bases in the states, expanded vehicle maintenance in Iraq and Afghanistan, a contract to provide staffing for forward operating bases and the teaming with new partners to develop rapid housing deployment capabilities.

Maryville-based Company Awarded $10M Contract in Afghanistan

Maryville, Tenn. – Only two months in to 2010, and one local company is beginning the year by winning a large contract overseas, while also projecting another significant growth year.  Critical Mission Support Services (CMSS), a Maryville-based company specializing in providing governments and organizations around the world with mission critical services, was recently awarded a $10M contract with the Joint Contracting Command, Afghanistan. This contract serves as a vehicle to provide third country national or U.S. National personnel in support of the coalition efforts in Afghanistan. 

“This is a great opportunity for CMSS to expand our business and our existing footprint in Afghanistan,” said CMSS President, Eric Barton.  “We’ve had a great start to 2010 and are excited about the direction of the company as we continue to grow and expand throughout the year.” 

With this most recent contract awarded, CMSS has already secured 25 percent of its total new business revenue goal for the entire year.  As revenues grow, so to does the number of employees.  By the end of 2010, CMSS expects to add 77 new staff employees to support its global operations.

CMSS Announces Advisory Agreement with Ridge Global

Critical Mission Support Services (CMSS), a Maryville-based company specializing in providing governments and organizations around the world with mission critical services, has entered into an agreement with Ridge Global, a strategic consulting firm headquartered in Washington, D.C.  Ridge Global is led by The Honorable Tom Ridge, the first Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and former Governor of Pennsylvania. 

Ridge Global will be working closely with the CMSS leadership team to develop their security strategy and international business plan.
